ramble on

sometimes I grow so tired...

I'm weary of the word artisanal.

Gosh, must be the part of the world you live it - I don't meet it much! We're well behind the times here; seems it had it's advantages!

Really Shelley? I see the word constantly and am always exclaiming about it. It's probably a case of heightened awareness, but it does seem to be it is a trendy overused word. But I'm not the word police so who am I to complain?

Oh hell, just got an email from a posh restaurant we went to with friends a few months ago. It used to be called Barn Again (in a former stone barn). Then it moved next to an art gallery called The Biscuit Factory (biscuits being cookies in Britain) and was called Barn at the Biscuit. Now it's called 'artisan' (no capital, very pretentious). Forgot all about it!

Ha Shelley! That is exactly the usage that is being bantered around! It's making me a bit crazy. And so is the fetishizing of mason jars.

Stephen, does Wendy's really make that claim?!
