Happy birthday! The screenplay was done by Harold Pinter--hence the great writing. Let us know how you liked the musical (great gift, daughter).
Thanks FS, birthday was some time ago. Saw the play on Saturday. The movie is one of my favourites so no surprise I very much enjoyed the play. :)
Gam Kau, I have tickets in two weeks time when I am over! I adored the movie and was filled with glee when I found out the play was on.
Glad you had a good time. I haven't been to a play in ages. This was a good reminder to see what's at the theatre.
ExactingL - you'll really enjoy it. The movie is on my top 10 list so my daughter knew I'd enjoy the play. I saw it in London, didn't even know it was in NYC.BB - I haven't been in ages either, it was a nice treat. Soon you will be busy with a little one about, but you will still have to make time for small pleasures. :)
Happy birthday, belated as it may be. Such a good daughter too. I've only seen the movie way back when. Must've been fun to see it 'live.'
Thanks Pao! It really was good fun. :)
Glad you enjoyed the play - great gift! Thanks for your comment about organ donation, not least because it tipped me that I'd published a month early (dippy). I've re-scheduled for the correct date and had some additional information (sadly). Agree, people don't talk about death even though it is an important part of life...perhaps losing both my parents at a relatively early age has forced me to face facts in a way others avoid - that and turning 50 was another awakening.
Hope you had a great Birthday! It's a lovely gift. Saw the film years ago and just bought the DVD yesterday :-)
SilkP - you should try to see the play, I'm sure you would enjoy it!Shelley - I've always been rather death focused. Morbid almost. I think it is makes me both practical and impetuous both.
Happy belated Birthday!!! xx
