Why should you? The wood looks nice and weathered as is the cloth. And you can do some boro type stitching when it splits.

SilkP - I truly am shameless about rescuing cast offs.

Shelley - It's awful how much stuff is simply tossed away isn't it? I've found new homes for so many rescued items. :)

ExactingL - It was in the wee hours of the morning so I didn't really know how good a find it would be until I brought it home.
