I was looking for a link but found none, so I'm guessing you're saying '70 is the new old'? Since my 66 year old husband can still run a marathon in a respectable time, I'm guessing it depends on what you do before you get there.
Yes, there was supposed to be a link Shelley! I think I've fixed it now…I agree, it's all in context isn't it? Like everything else...
And why not? We are getting fitter as a whole. Survival of the fittest?Age has been on a mind lately too ... after a visit to my dr.
Whoa - some of those folks are in to extreme stuff! And that they started so 'late' is amazing. Many of us have injuries and various other kinks that handicap our pursuit of activity by the time we're half a century old (not that my dicky wrist gives me any excuse for not running more regularly).
ahh, so there is a link. Very, very cool indeed. So glad I came back again to see. Thanks for that kick in the butt.
Silk, I hope we really are getting more fit, sometimes I have my doubts...Shelley, I like that so many started later in life, v. inspirational!Pao, it provided me with some needed motivation.
Came back to check the link again. Very inspiring!
Exacting - those old folks really are impressive aren't they?
